A Broadway playwright, his conniving producer and his actress wife hatch a plot to guarantee their new play will be a success – they fake the playwright’s suicide on opening night! However, after a few weeks the playwright realizes that “playing dead” is not so great after all. Meanwhile, the playwright’s feisty agent is starting to suspect that something is amiss, the producer and playwright’s wife seem to have their own agenda, and the police are wondering why no body has been found. Or will a body be found?
Free anniversary cake will be served on opening night.
