When: Mon., April 6, 12:15 p.m. 2015
Nearly 30 poems and art quilts will take center stage April 6-29 at the Indianapolis Artsgarden, Washington and Illinois streets. The exhibit, Poetry in Free Motion, celebrates a creative collaboration of central Indiana quilters and poets. The project, which began in 2010, matched one quilter with one poet. Each art quilt has either inspired a poem or was, in turn, inspired by a poem. The exhibit and readings are free to the public during Artsgarden hours, Monday–Saturday, 9 a.m.-9:30 p.m.; Sunday, noon-6 p.m.
