All culturally impactful events start with an initial seed of inspiration. Just ask Adam Crockett and Ryan Hickey. In September 2002, the two young art enthusiasts coordinated the first ever ORANJE showcase, which was rooted in an idea for a small gathering of friends to share their art and music. Thirteen years later, however, that humble affair has blossomed into a full-on meeting of imaginative minds, featuring cartoonists, chefs, musicians, painters, poets and much more from all over the region.

  • More than 20,000 people have attended the annual ORANJE event since 2002.

Highlighting more than 30 visual artists and 30 performers on multiple stages, the annual contemporary art and music event will take place this Saturday at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. With the help of countless creators, numerous local supporters and the thousands of faithful patrons who have attended in years past, ORANJE continues on with its mission to "explore the boundaries of art, music and culture and present them to the public in an exciting, interactive and stimulating environment where you can truly 'indulge your senses.'"
