Discover the connection between literature and Fine Art in the early to mid 20th century. Patrick Collier, an English professor from Ball State University, will use James Spencer Russell's obsession with James Joyce's "Finnegan's Wake" to trace links between literacy and visual realism, impressionism, and abstraction. Introduction by Ron Kern, Russell collector and author. Kern will provide a historic look at Russell's connection with "Finnegan's Wake" and how it became a major influence on his work over 30 years.
