Snapshots of November's First Friday

November's First Friday featured a range of art events that demonstrate the strength and depth of Indianapolis' art and cultural communities. From the memorial show for Stephen Peck at General Public Collective to The 11's pop-up gallery and Paul Harris' iMOCA opening, creative groups of all ages were represented last night. Meanwhile, the Spirit & Place Festival's event incorporated art and a participatory activity that led guests through what was essentially a gallery scavenger hunt, for a chance to win prizes (while learning more about the Indy). The Harrison Center for the Arts demonstrated yoga's increasing role in the city with a guest instructor on hand. If you didn't brave the bitter cold night (or the mad hunt for parking Friday evening) or even if you did -- scroll through these snapshots for a look at some of the FF highlights.
