In honor of the International Convention on Cyber Security, the hosting Fordham University has teamed up with the FBI Art Crimes team to put together a gallery of seized forgeries. Co-curator Dan Small says he was given a large list of pieces that he could use for the show that he whittled down to 13, ranging in quality to give the full spectrum of art forging talent. Our question to the FBI is, why not put out a permanent exhibit? It could even travel and help pay down some national debt. Seriously, what else are you doing with all this fake art?
