In need of a boost? Some of Indy's premier hip-hop emcees have got you covered. Earlier this year Oreo Jones, John Stamps, Sirius Blvck, Freddie Bunz and G Granite hit the road in hopes of sharing their Indy-born tunes with the rest of the country via a two-month tour that took them down to Florida and back. Well, the boys are at it again, embarking on the two-week Ghost Gun Summer Vacation Tour, where they'll be revisiting the good ol' South once more, still holding tightly to their mission of spreading Indiana hip-hop to the masses.

"Can We Get a Jump" documents the roving Hoosier hip-hop crew known as "Ghost Gun" as the members took their tunes beyond the I-465 loop.
This Thursday, Fountain Square's General Public Collective will host the tour's Kickoff Party, sending off the team of impassioned emcees with a healthy dose of hometown hospitality. Coinciding with the night of spirited performances will also be the official book launch of Can We Get A Jump? -- a photography journal that follows the crew's initial quest. Only 25 copies will be available of the limited edition, 112-page book, which features photography by K. Eleanor Bleier (link NSFW) and Oreo Jones and comes with an exclusive mixtape.
