Watch online as indie bands and musicians perform in the WFYI studio each month for the station’s new online Small Studio Sessions.

WFYI viewers were diggin’ the NPR Tiny Desk Contest. More than 65 submissions came in from around Central Indiana alone. So WFYI wanted to oblige its faithful listening and viewing audience and shine the light on local and regional musical talent. The result is the station’s latest program –- Small Studio Sessions.

The first of the once-a-month online jam sessions was just released a couple days ago. It features five songs from The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band’s albumn So Delicious. It includes Hell No, Dirt, You’re Not Rich and We Live Dangerous.

For a peek at this Indie band’s style, check out the video clip below and learn more about the Reverend's method of playing during a Sky Blue Window interview just days before the band performed as part of the Butler ArtsFest last month.
